Tom Waits Reveals Lyrics From New Album -- On a Chalkboard

Tom Waits is up to something.

We knew that the recent Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee has been working on an album, but so far that's the only information that he's let slip. Until now.

On Thursday, Waits, or whoever controls his website, posted a photo (see below) that features new lyrics scrawled on a chalkboard next to a microphone: "No good you say? Well, that's good enough for me. You're the same kind of bad as me."

So, that's all we get: No news on if the project is a straightforward album (as straight as Waits can be, that is) or another record to accompany a play, like 'Alice' or 'Blood Money.' The only thing we can say for certain is that we're excited to hear it, whatever it may be.
