Joss Stone Plot Suspects Remanded Over Robbery-Murder Charges

UPDATE: The two men appeared at Exeter Magistrates' Court on Thursday morning and have been remanded until July 1. The pair spoke only to confirm their identities.

The two men at the centre of an alleged plot to harm and rob blue-eyed soul singer Joss Stone are due to appear before Exeter magistrates later on Thursday, 16 June. Kevin Liverpool, 33, and Junior Bradshaw, 30, both from Manchester, have been charged with conspiracy to commit grievous bodily harm and conspiracy to commit robbery, reports the BBC.

As previously reported by Spinner, the two men were arrested near Stone's home in Devon after neighbours reported suspicious behaviour to the local police. A search of the suspects' car by the constabulary yielded a body bag, rope and a sword.

Despite the severity of the situation, Stone has played the scenario down. She released a statement saying, "I'd like to thank everyone for their concern but I'm absolutely fine and getting on with life as normal while the police continue their enquiries."
