On Wednesday night's episode of 'Late Night With Jimmy Fallon,' the Saskatchewan band with the Southern Rock influences made a fan out of blue-collar comedian Larry the Cable Guy. Whether or not that helps them in their quest to best Lelia Broussard in the Rolling Stone Cover Contest remains to be seen.
"The Sheepdogs look right out of 1971," Larry told Fallon at the beginning of his interview. "They were awesome. I loved them." Check out more from the episode, including the Sheepdogs and Broussard facing off in a "Battle of the Instant Bands," in the videos below and cast your vote for you favorite act.
