Ellie Goulding Falls Off a Segway and the Paparazzi Are There, Of Course

Up-and-coming British singer-songwriter Ellie Goulding is known for the infectious pop of her debut record, 'Bright Lights,' as well as her personal affinity for running (she's even offered to have group jogging sessions with fans). But over the weekend, Goulding took a little break from exercise to ride a mall-cop mainstay: the Segway.

While hanging out on Miami Beach, the singer rented the gyroscopic scooter to glide along the shoreline. But, as Goulding quickly found out, it's not as easy as it looks. After taking a hard tumble in the sand, the singer resiliently rose up and hopped back on to try again. Check out photos of the incident below, captured in a video from Splash News.

And as Ellie told us via Twitter, she was aware the paparazzi were there snapping these "BRILLIANT" photos. "They f---ing KNEW I was going to fall at some point (you're not supposed to ride them on the sand)," she said. For the record, Ellie rules.
