The one-time Black Flag frontman has signed up to host a new show on US channel National Geographic Wild called 'Animal Underworld,' the NME reports.
The show will be a sequel of sorts to Rollins' previous gig on the network, 'Snake Underworld,' in which he investigated human interaction with serpents and visited both a doctor who treats snake-bites and a fellow reptile-loving hard rocker, Kerry King of Slayer.
In 'Animal Underworld,' the thick-necked hardcore pioneer will meet both collectors of exotic species and consumers of them. The latter will include fans of the aforementioned liquified amphibian, as well as partakers of tarantula and customers at Arizona's Roadkill Cafe, where delights include the splatter platter and a swirl of squirrel.
Not that Rollins' will merely offer viewers the chance to gawp at some nausea-inducing dining habits: the new programme is "really an investigation into our relationship with animals," at least according to National Geographic Wild senior VP Geoff Daniels.
