"The piano was recorded ad-lib in one take, then edited together, at my parents home in Seattle this past winter," Superhumanoids' Cameron Parkins tells Spinner. "We built the song around that and then finished it off in Los Angeles."
Tell All Your Friends
Superhumanoids' latest single features the lovely vocal stylings of Sarah Chernoff, a rounded bass tone and pads of wintry harmonics.
"The drum samples are actually snow and ice being manipulated in different ways -- ice blocks smashing, footsteps, snow packing, etc. This is the most down-tempo piece of music we have ever released."
Superhumanoids follow-up to 'Parasite Paradise' is available now via White Iris records.
