Two Door Cinema Club Plot More Glastonbury Festivities After Performing

Two Door Cinema Club may have already played their debut Pyramid Stage set at this year's Glastonbury, but the Northern Irish three-piece are planning on hanging out down on Worthy Farm for a while yet.

"The last two years we've spent the whole weekend and haven't booked anything else," guitarist Sam Halliday told AOL Music UK this week. "We've just stayed and kind of been a punter at the festival."

"The festival season is the only time we really get to watch other bands so we usually try to stick around for a bit," he continued. "I'm looking forward to seeing Paul Simon. That'll be pretty special. And Beyoncé I'm looking forward to her show as well."

The band's full embrace of the festival spirit hasn't always gone down with the organisers who have booked them to perform, however.

"At Reading last year we all got a bit drunk in our dressing room and got a bit rowdy with the backstage liaison who wanted us out of the dressing room, which we wouldn't leave because the festival wasn't over," explained Halliday. "It got a bit out of hand and then we got kicked out and made to stand in the rain. The liasion was organizing the shuttles back to the buses and we were left 'til last. She had the last laugh."

Two Door Cinema Club performed tunes from their debut album 'Tourist History' on the Pyramid stage at 1:30PM on Friday and will head off next week to begin a string of European and Far East festival dates. Provided they don't infuriate anymore backstage staff there, the dance rockers will also play the main arena at Reading and Leeds when they return to the UK in August.
