'Second Chance,' Peter Bjorn and John
If fresh, smooth indie rock is what you want, then look no further than Swedish trio Peter Bjorn and John. And what better to complement that sultry flavor than a crisp Bud Light with a twist of lime?
With the indie community getting farmed for more and more ads, it was only natural that beer companies get in on the action (See our list of Best Beer Ad Songs here). In the commercial above, two dudes walk into a gas station to get a case of Bud Light Lime and are suddenly transported into an island paradise complete with beautiful woman, waves and rays. Of course.
Employing Peter Bjorn and John's 'Second Chance,' a track off their latest album, 'Gimme Some,' does two things: It sets up the viewer for a more enjoyable ad experience while simultaneously embedding an earworm into each and every channel surfer that sees it. Who can resist the catchy chord structure and clanging cowbell of 'Second Chance'?
So when you need to escape that Happy Place in the back of your mind crack open a cold one. Or, just turn up the PB&J.
