Fratelli BVBA
The group has covered dozens of big-name artists (U2, Metallica, Nirvana and so on) but they still have a long list of potential projects. To that end, Steven Kolacny, the arranger and pianist, came up with a list of the Top Five "songs we'd love to try but haven't been able to work out (yet)." Check out the list and the group's new video for their version of Foo Fighters' 'Everlong' below.
1. The Police, 'Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic'
This one is really up-tempo, which is rare for us, but it just might work. I hope ...
2. The Cure, 'Boys Don't Cry'
I'd like this one because it's from my time, but also because of the special meaning this would get if sung by the Scala girls.
3. George Michael, 'Can't Make You Love Me'
I think most people know this from Bonnie Raitt, but for me George Michael really killed this. Melancholy and sadness -- my two favorite things in music.
4. The Pixies, 'Where Is My Mind'
I'd love to try this one because it's really an "icon" of a song and would really be a challenge. And because I'm really not sure this could be made to work.
5. Pearl Jam, 'Alive'
This is one of the best songs of all time and I am sure we will fail at doing this, which makes it a really interesting challenge.
