According to Billboard, a blind man in the audience was holding up a sign, expressing that he wanted to play a song for his wife. So during U2's encore, the enigmatic frontman reached out to the unidentified fan, bringing him onstage for a performance of 'All I Want Is You.'
"Get a guitar for this dude. Gents, we have a surprise guest," Bono said as the stage crew handed over the singer's guitar to the fan.
And in what seemed like a repeat Chuck Klosterman anecdote, U2's special guest's mind visibly exploded in front of thousands of people as he said "I'm really nervous" right before kicking into the heartfelt ballad on Bono's six-string. One thing is for sure -- that dude can never top what he just did for his wife.
