Pete Doherty's Six-Month Jail Sentence Ends Early

As previously reported by Spinner, the Babyshambles man was served with a six-month sentence in May after pleading guilty to possessing cocaine.
It was later reported that court documents showed an expected release date of Aug. 21 -- a few days before he was scheduled to play solo at the Reading and Leeds festivals.
However, according to NME, a post on albionrooms.com on July 5 revealed that Doherty has been released early, after spending only a month and a half in jail. It said, "On this bright sunny morning Peter was released from prison and thanks everyone for their valued support whilst inside."
Doherty's manager, Adrian Hunter, is said to have posted about his release under the pseudonym "Babybear" on the French Dog Writtles messageboard, saying that "reflection is on the cards" as Doherty returns to everyday society.
"Peter has been released as was reported there hours ago," he said. "Today's been a long but great day and now a bit of shuteye will be well welcomed by myself certainly. All's good and peace and quiet shall now ensue. A bit of 'bedding in' and reflection is on the cards and so much the better."

He has an okay voice, but a few of his songs remind me of the bubblegum music of the 60s. A little ho hum in my opinion. BUT...it's just my opinion, and your opinion (like mine) is only an opinion.
