Jack White Ventures Into Hip-Hop Production With Black Milk

Jack White may be a garage-rock legend, a guitar hero and one of today's most enterprising musical entrepreneurs., yet Third Man Records' newest release sees him taking on a previously unexplored role: Rap producer.

White reached out to Black Milk, underground rapper and fellow Detroit native, about a possible collaboration, and he accepted immediately. Recorded at Nashville's Third Man Studios in April, the single is out now, both digitally and on 7-inch vinyl. The two Detroiters co-produced the single, while White played guitar on the A-side 'Brain' and drums on the B-side 'Royal Mega.'
