U2 Perform 'Happy Birthday' for Nelson Mandela in Philadelphia

All four members of the band briefly gathered in front of Bono's microphone and led the audience of the sold-out show in paying tribute to the anti-apartheid and human-rights activist.
Bono has worked closely with Mandela's 46664 AIDS charity in the past and is an active human-rights campaigner himself. The recording of 'Happy Birthday' will be shown to Mandela on Monday, July 18 during his 93rd birthday celebration. The party will be held at New York City's Four Seasons Hotel and hosted by Morgan Freeman.
