Public Image Ltd. Songs Destroyed as John Lydon's Home Burns Down

And among the victims of the fire were new Public Image Ltd. songs Lydon had written, according to the BBC.
Nobody were harmed in the fire, with Lydon proclaiming that hearing that his wife was unhurt was the "best news I've ever had in my whole life."
The culprit? A dodgy spin drier, according to Lydon, who was speaking at the Mojo awards on Thursday, July 21.
He said, "I was in Italy. My wife rang me up just before we were going on stage. [She] said 'Oh John, I don't want to disturb you. The house has burnt down.'
"I hadn't been in the house for two years. First time I tried to get clean the house goes up in flames."
Lydon was at the Mojo awards to collect an award for his Public Image Ltd., who were honoured in the Outstanding Services to Music category. Other winners on the night included Arctic Monkeys, who picked up the Best Album award, and Ringo Starr, who went home with the Icon award.
