Ximena Sariñana Throws a Pool Party in 'Different' -- Video Premiere

From a young age, Ximena Sariñana has been acting and singing in her native Mexico to high critical acclaim, taking up starring roles in 'Amar Te Duele,' 'Dos Abrazos' and even a few Mexican telenovelas. Now the 25-year-old singer is gearing up for her English-language debut with her eponymous new album.

Sariñana's new single 'Different' establishes the singer's ability to transcend language barriers while keeping her edgy and smart lyrics at the top of their game.

The song's accompanying video features Ximena and friends at a poolside sock hop, utilizing '60s-era dance moves in front of a mountainous West Coast backdrop.

"This video was one of the most fun experiences I've had on a set," Sariñana tells Spinner. "We rehearsed for three days to get the choreography right. Everyone put so much into the video. I hope you enjoy it!"

The up-and-coming chanteuse is currently on a North American tour in support of her self-titled new album, out Aug. 2 via WMG.
