Feist Unveils Tracklisting and Album Cover for New 'Metals' Album, Announces Tour

Time to skim over the just-unveiled tracklisting for 'Metals' and commit the song titles to memory since her latest batch of soulful tunes will no doubt becomes the talk of the town when Feist's new album, her first since 2007's smash success 'The Reminder,' comes out on Oct. 4.

Along with the reveal of the 12 tracks -- which include songs like 'Graveyard,' 'Woe Me' and 'Get It Wrong, Get It Right' -- comes the serene album cover, a scene right out of National Geographic circa 1970 but with her typically arty bent.

There's also a new video vignette to watch (the third in a series of 12 offering a taste of the record, which Feist's label modestly bills as "transcendent").

Feist will be on the road as of Oct. 15, kicking off her tour in Amsterdam before making her way to North America for a string of dates leading into Dec.

Fans can get their mitts on tickets for these shows via the album pre-order starting Wednesday, Aug. 3. So dust off your Feist t-shirts, power-up your iPod and get ready to welcome the Canadian songbird back into your life.
