Lady Gaga, Aretha and More Superstars Wish Tony Bennett Happy 85th Birthday

The incredible, irreplaceable, inspirational Tony Bennett turns 85 today (Aug. 3), and understandably he's the talk of the town. Actually, his friends and admirers are doing more than just talk about the legendary crooner, they've broken out in song.

In honour of the milestone, Lady Gaga, k.d. Lang, Sheryl Crow, Aretha Franklin, Mariah Carey, Queen Latifah, Willie Nelson and others have contributed to 'Duets II,' the forthcoming follow-up to the multi-platinum 'Duets' disc released in celebration of Bennett's 80th year. Produced by Phil Ramone -- and featuring the last-ever studio recording with Bennett's dear friend Amy Winehouse -- the record will be a must-have for music fans of all types.

"Tony's artistic generosity was so appreciated by each performer, many of whom said that to record with such a master was a career highlight that they'll always remember," said Ramone in a statement.
