Im glad shes ok. I also love music from the 50-60s. I grew up on The Platters,Drifters,Elvis,and Chuck Berry,The Supremes just to name a few, so I am by far, no stranger to this music. But comments on Rush not being talented is WAY off line here. Rush helped solidify the Prog-rock movement. Made thousands of people pick up the bass or drums (including myself). Rush has 2 members that MANY in the music industry would say are among the 2 best Bassist/Drummer who ever lived. They are masters of odd time measures.MANY Rock stars would count them as a huge influence. As of today Rush possesses 24 gold records and 14 platinum (3 multi-platinum) records. Rush's sales statistics place them third behind The Beatles and The Rolling Stones for the most consecutive gold or platinum studio albums by a rock band (FACT). Rush to this DAY have no support act open up for them, unlike many bands who need 2-3 bands on tour with them just to help fill the seats, Rush fills seats by themselves. Rush play for over 3 hours every night to packed houses across the globe. (Go look at the're past touring schedules) Pretty impressive for 3 guys. With stats like that.. WHY ARE THEY ARE NOT IN THE HALL OF FAME? Bands/artist who have done less or achieved less, or for that matter, even existed for a fraction of the time that Rush has are in the Hall of Fame.To say that they have no talent or have done nothing is due to your lack of understanding of them.

Speaking of iconic performers, I was just talking to a friend last night that I feel that kids today don't even know who Elvis is. To them, they either have never heard of him, or if they at least know his name, have NO CLUE how important he was to the American culture. The same with the Beatles. All kids seem to know about today is hip hop or boy bands that are here today, gone tomorrow.

I have replaced 45 RPM with casettes with 8 Track and now with CD's of the music of THAT day and Etta James was ALWAYS one of my replacements. There is nothing like the music of the 50's and EARLY 60's. There are some fabulous singers today who I love but Rush and Kiss are not in the TALENT category..Sorry!

Who ever started that hoax is a really a jackass a hoax like that is no good what if it was his mom or gram very distasteful she was awesome in her day
