In an interview with Moviefone, Mitchell doesn't dismiss the accusations that frontman Caleb Followill was drunk during the ill-fated Dallas concert, but he does defend the band's work ethic.
"It's easy to sit back like an armchair quarterback and say, 'Oh, you should be getting out there and do this or do that,' but they never stop, period. I don't think people understand that about them," he said. "If they're home, they're doing an album or they're doing press interviews, or they're filming this show or they're doing that. I just think that, like all human beings, you reach a point where you're just tired. You can't play a great athlete an entire game, you've got to give 'em a breather."

I had tkts to see them live in Houston..the day after the Dallas gig and am pretty upset that they would sell tickets for a huge North American tour and decide once they've started that they're too exhausted to go through with it. They should have decided that before it was even scheduled. If they're ending the tour to get Caleb some rehab help then I'm fine with that and it needs to be done...but deciding part way into a tour that it is just too much is not something i'm okay with.
