Marcus Mumford and Carey Mulligan Engagement Confirmed

As Spinner previously reported, speculation has surrounded folkster Marcus Mumford's supposed engagement to Carey Mulligan, and Rolling Stone now confirms that the Oscar-nominated actress and frontman of Mumford and Sons are definitely betrothed.

The pair was originally childhood pen pals and connected this past February after losing touch. An unnamed source recently told The Sun that Mulligan was flaunting quite a big ring while at Babington House, Somerset.

"Carey looked like the cat who had got the cream," the source said. "She was wearing a beautiful ring and didn't seem to mind who saw it. They were stuck to each other like glue. She was doing most of the talking and he was hanging on her every word."

No word yet on when the two will be getting hitched, but it seems like a match made in indie heaven. Congrats to the happy couple!

Never heard of them, but I am a little older and not into all types of music. Hope they will be happy since they've known each other for sooooo long,.
