Conrad Schnitzler of Tangerine Dream and Kluster Dead at 74

Schnitzler appeared in early lineups of Krautrock outfits Tangerine Dream and Kluster. After three albums with Kluster, Schnitzler departed in 1971 to join the group Eruption. Eruption gigged and recorded regularly until 2010.
Before his death, Schnitlzer shipped his own hairs to various places around the world as part of the Global Living Project. Those who wish to pay tribute to Mr. Schnitzler can visit his remains at nine different locations across the globe, including Mt. Fuji, the Fairy Glen at Sefton Park in Liverpool, and Nordkapp, Norway.
