Ana Egge Goes Off-Roading in the Country for 'Hole in Your Halo' -- Video Premiere

Less than two months after premiering her driving folk-rock track 'Bad Blood' with Spinner, Ana Egge is back with the brand-new video for 'Hole in Your Halo.' The Brooklyn, N.Y.-based singer-songwriter penned the song after visiting a mentally ill relative in jail, and the subdued, rustic video matches the tone perfectly.

"The filming was very off the cuff and adventurous," Egge tells Spinner of the video, which was directed by Patrick Fraser. "We struck out before the sun came up, scouting beautiful locations and driving off the road as far as we could to roll the windows down and blast the song. We'd do a few takes in each location and then move on 'til we saw another gorgeous setting and screech to a halt and go off-roading again. It was a very creative and exciting way to shoot."

'Hole in Your Halo' can be found on Egge's 'Bad Blood' album, which was produced by Steve Earle and recorded at Levon Helm Studios in Woodstock, N.Y. The LP is due out Aug. 23 via Animal Records.
