John Frusciante Battling Alleged Stalker

Last week, Frusciante filed a request (likely for a restraining order) in Los Angeles after the obsessed fan showed up at his home on July 28 and once more on July 29. Thomas had approached both the singer and his wife numerous times before to talk about the prospective script.
In the documents Frusciante claims she sent him several e-mails and letters that were "long, rambling and overly emotional -- and in some cases, she would admit that she is 'often drunk.'"
He elaborated, "I fear both for my safety and for my wife's safety. Given that my wife and I are musicians and often play at venues around the world, it is hard for us to avoid Ms. Thomas if she is free to continually show up to harass us."
The case is scheduled to go to court later in August.
