Liam Gallagher's Store Looted in Riots, Thief Gets Eight Months in Jail

He may not have borrowed riffs from the Beatles, but one Englishman is going to jail for eight months for looting Liam Gallagher's Manchester clothing store, NME reports.

Owen Flanagan, a Levenshulme resident, pled guilty to two counts of burglary after he broke into Pretty Green during the recent riots that spread from London to other English cities. The 28-year-old admitted to lifting £175 worth of clothing, plus two "electrical items," as the BBC puts it.

So far, Flanagan has been the only person charged with looting the Beady Eye frontman's boutique, but several witnesses reported that people were freely walking in and out of the store, which had its windows smashed in. One Twitter user even reported seeing "a lot of blood in this store." Courts are still hearing all the riot cases, so more charges could be pending.
