Sigur Ros to Premiere 'Inni' Film at Venice Days

Icelandic post-rock group Sigur Ros released a cryptic film clip Aug. 11 which is actually a teaser for a film called 'Inni' by Vincent Morriset (who directed Arcade Fire's 'Miroir Noir'), The Playlist reports. The short clip features smoky, grainy footage of the band playing live.

The film is set to debut at Venice Days, an offshoot of the Venice Film Festival, which begins August 31. Billed by as a "surprise film" event, the flick looks to be a concert documentary of some sort. Sigur Ros has been on hiatus since January 2010. Whether this is the band's last gasp or their return remains part of the mystery.
