Ben Kweller Gets Trapped in an Elevator and Films the Whole Ordeal

"Where has Ben Kweller been?" you might have asked yourself recently. Well, he's been stuck in an elevator, at least for a little while. The Texas-based singer-songwriter and Noise Company label executive Kiko Velez recently found themselves trapped inside a Marriot Hotel lift.

"We're now deciding who gets to eat who for sustenance to try to survive," Velez quipped before realizing, "This is kind of how some horror movies start." M. Night Shyamalan's 'Devil' anybody?

Hijinks unfold via an iPhone video camera until the two are finally rescued by hotel security, in a daring extraction that involves a mysterious blowtorch and the security guard assuring Kweller "you're my baby boy" as he pulls him to safety. Kweller survived the harrowing ordeal to tell the tale and even tweeted the video, which you can see below.
