Tiësto to Break DJ-Headlining Record With Los Angeles Concert

As Spinner previously reported, world-renowned DJ and live show entrepreneur Tiësto is currently on his Club Life College Invasion tour that will see the beat-maker playing university campuses across the U.S. over 21 high-intensity dates.

Now, Billboard reports that the Dutch artist is on a crash course with the record books for having the largest single-headlining DJ show in U.S. History. On Oct. 8, Tiësto will play the Home Depot Stadium in Los Angeles, Calif. (a 26,000-capacity venue) and it is gearing up to be quite the rave.

"I can't wait to play Home Depot Stadium," the DJ told Billboard. "L.A. has always been such a welcoming city to me and it's been a while since I've played there, so to be able to finish off the college tour with such a great show is really special."

It's no surprise that Tiesto is setting this record. Having been on the circuit for over a decade, consistently releasing top quality music and delivering outstanding performances, he commands one of the strongest brands in dance music.

I won't be travelling up to LA, but he's playing at a more intimate venue in San Diego a couple of days before at the Sports Arena. For more info on that show check out http://www.amplifiedaccess.com
