The leader of the church, Fred Phelps, has come out against the Foos and all of the entertainment industry because of course he would. "The entertainment industry is a microcosm of the people in this doomed nation: hard-hearted, hell-bound, and hedonistic," he wrote on the church's website. "These people have a platform and should be using it to encourage obedience to God; instead they teach every person who will listen all things contrary to him: fornication, adultery, idolatry, fags."
Within recent years the Westboro Baptist Church have protested the funerals of gay men and women, as well as fallen members of the US military, often appearing at events with signs that read "God Hates Fags" and "God Hates America."
Westboro's statement comes just days after the Foo Fighters released their hilarious fake gay porno music video for 'Hot Buns.' The church concluded it statement by saying that the day of reckoning is upon us and that God will judge all that seek to enjoy life, basically.
Now that Fred Phelps and his church will picket the Foo Fighters, what is left for God to hate? Kittens, probably.
