Iggy Pop Breaks Two Bones in His Foot, Stooges West Coast Gigs Postponed

"I hate this, I hate like hell to cancel or postpone anything," Pop said on the band's Facebook page. "I only saw the doctor because it hurt so ******* much and I couldn't fix it myself. Please be patient, I am so excited about these dates on the left coast."
After recuperating for several days at home, Pop sought treatment and learned that he'd have to rest for six to eight weeks. The affected shows were set to take place between Sept. 7-13 in Los Angeles, Las Vegas and San Francisco.
This isn't the most serious ailment affecting the band right now, as Pop recently revealed to Rolling Stone that drummer Scott Asheton nearly died earlier this year from an undisclosed illness. "He was rushed to the hospital after our appearance at Hellfest in France," Pop said. "He was on a flight to England when all sorts of hell broke loose. Without proper medical attention right there he would have bought it. He got very, very good care from the British and all sorts of tests. He's now at home in Florida and I think he'll be fine with a lot of rest."
Asheton has been replaced by Larry Mullins while he recuperates. Get well soon, guys.

Hey fliingv !!! - The guy with the hook is more than likely keeping the hook in a position to give the 'Osteoporosis Poster Boy' a “frontal” wedgie so as to keep the unnecessary weight off the two broken bones in his foot with the hope that they will heal faster. The rest is self explanatory: Let him ‘Kick Out The Jams’, get himself a roll of paper towels before he turns off the lights, and when he closes the closet door - POP! (Or is it IGGY?)

Also, considering that he walked up to J-Lo on 'American Idol' with no shirt on - probably thinking he was 'all that’ - I'd like to decimate the rest of him and his scrawny a$$ into pieces to match his foot.
