From soundtracking the daily life of outsider comedian Andy Kaufman in 1999's 'Man on the Moon' to the name-dropping lyrics of 'Electrolite,' R.E.M. have worn their film passions on their sleeves.
Lead singer Michael Stipe even started two different film companies (C-Hundred and Single Cell) throughout his career in order to produce low-budget indie films and more mainstream works.
