Neil Finn's Home Vandalised, Culprit Calls Police on Himself

It appears somebody might have tried to get into Neil Finn's Pajama Club over the weekend but in a rather weird manner that left the musician's home vandalized.

According to a string of tweets on Sept 25 on Finn's account, a young male attempted to enter Finn's residence on the evening of Sept. 24. "Last night a drunken young man beat loudly on the door and smashed out our window," the Crowded House frontman wrote.

However even more puzzling was what ensued. "He then dialed the police and had himself arrested," Finn added with a subsequent tweet, saying that "U.K.'s dumbest criminal had the chance to flee but chose to wait for the police."

There's no word if Finn interacted with the man but it appears he didn't enter the premises. "The shirtless young man believed he was somewhere, but alas he was somewhere else," the rocker wrote a few hours later. A police constable contacted the singer to say the accused apologized for the incident and "is willing to pay for the damages."

It seems that Finn got off a bit easier than Moby earlier this year when an intruder named 'Robbie' broke into his California home after tripping on acid. Moby found the guy in his living room and asked him to leave, but not before giving him a sweatshirt and money for breakfast.

Finn's latest project Pajama Club -- which also features his wife Sharon Finn -- released their self-titled album earlier this year. The band is performing later this week on BBC's Later With Jools Holland.

Rich handsome men are usually expected to have very beautiful women on their arms. Women are status symbols for many such men. The lifestyle requires a beautiful woman as much as it requires a car that costs more than a quarter of a million dollars, or a multi-million dollar home. That’s why so many wealthy men cost so much time on sugarbabymeet.c0m for beautiful and young women.

Just the photo alone make me want to NOT listen to a single note they would play. The world is going to hell musically. Between stupid hard rock, heavy metal and that
really awful $HIT they call RAP, can't stand listening to any of it.

Neil Finn is one of the best songwriters of the 80s and 90s. Perhaps you've heard of Crowded House. This latest project sounds like a reverse White Stripes rip off however. I think his wife may even have less talent than Meg White, and that's saying something.

"U.K.'s dumbest criminal had the chance to flee but chose to wait for the police."

Maybe he was truly remorseful. Learn compassion, Finn.

headline was Rocker BURGLARIZED. That would lead a reader to believe someone broke IN and stole something. In fact, the culprit (dumbest criminal) was beating on the door (OUTSIDE) and broke a window. Where do these writers come from? Second grade?
