Perhaps Jagger has been an extremely avid newsreader as of late or had his phone-tapped, but this role sounds shockingly like a barely fictionalized Rupert Murdoch. Jagger is aiming to produce the media-conspiracy thrill ride with Victoria Pearman of his Jagged Films company, as well as Steve Bing from Shangri-La Entertainment, who will also finance the production.
Jagger, who came up with the idea for 'Tabloid,' has also wrangled Josh Olsen ('A History of Violence') to pen the script. With the Rolling Stones on hold at the moment, Jagger could be eager to refocus on his film career. Most recently, his Jagged Films produced 'The Women' in 2008 while he worked alongside Martin Scorsese to make the Stones documentary 'Shine a Light'
