Irglova drew inspiration from the album while moving from Ireland to New York City and cites influences as disparate as Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds to the 'Jesus Christ Superstar' soundtrack. Fans of 'Once' or her collaboration with Glen Hansard, the Swell Season, will not be disappointed.
"'Go Back' was inspired by Otis Redding," Irglova tells Spinner. "it's about self empowerment in at a time of being tested."
The video for the R&B-inflected 'Go Back' is a striking montage of backwards footage and makes everyday images seem curiously out of place. Unsurprisingly, it shares little in common with Jay-Z and Kanye West's 'Otis.' Check out the exclusive premiere below and catch Irglova on tour in Europe and North America this fall.

Once again, she's over-produced. She's got to fire the producers and "go back" to the haunting, spare, Tasteful arrangements that do her justice! It makes me angry- they're killing her with noise and clutter! Trumpets, clutter, background vocals- it would be fine if it only added instead of subtracted! Hansard would never record her this way.
