"People say I'm the Beatle who changed the most, but really that's what I see life is about," Harrison says in the documentary trailer (included below). "You have to change," he adds. Check out our gallery of George Harrison's portraits and see a young, "cocky" greaser grow into one of the most lovable mop-tops in a mop-top crew, to the long-haired guitar guru, to the happily-weathered, smiling family man.
You may think you know George Harrison, but did you know he gave Eric Clapton permission to steal his wife? Check out what AOL Television has learned from screening the documentary.
Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, Yoko Ono, George Martin, Phil Spector, Terry Gilliam, Jackie Stewart and many more pitch in to add their memories and shared experiences to the documentary, clueing the viewer in on George's travels to India; his temporary, spiritually-motivated drug use; his collaboration with "people who were good at something, and his conflict between "the material world" of Fab Four fame, and the spiritual world he was so focused on until he lost his battle with cancer, 10 years ago.
Scorsese's previous stand-out music documentary projects included 'No Direction Home: Bob Dylan,' and the Rolling Stones' 'Shine a Light.' If they taught us anything, is that we can expect great things from his latest.
