According to AUX, 'Rockabye Baby! Lullaby Renditions of the Tragically Hip' comes out Nov. 8 and will include 'Courage,' 'New Orleans Is Sinking,' 'Poets,' 'Little Bones' and 'Nautical Disaster,' among others.
The series will also be releasing "lullabized" Police and Van Halen records next month. Previously groups like the Beatles, U2, Smashing Pumpkins and Kanye West have seen their songs go through the same kid-friendly revamp.
There's no word as to why other kid-related Hip songs like 'The Kids Don't Get It' from 2006's 'World Container' or 'Don't Wake Daddy' from 1996's 'Trouble At the Henhouse' didn't make the cut.
The Hip are off the road after a healthy heap of summer gigs but are reportedly at work on their new studio album. Meanwhile, the group made a feature-length documentary about their fans after shooting a concert earlier this year in Bobcaygeon, ON. There's no word as to when the as-yet untitled documentary will be released.
As for that lullaby album, this video gives us a peak at how some of the little bundles of joy might react to the slumber-y sounds.
