Brooklyn Electronic Music Festival 2011 to Feature Four Tet, Matthew Dear
Hayley Madden, Redferns
The two-day festival will take place the weekend of Nov. 11-12 in five venues on North 6th Street in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, including Music Hall of Williamsburg, Public Assembly, the Cove, Cameo,
Zablozki's, and several more to be announced shortly.
While headliner Matthew Dear's live show is almost worth the $45 price of admission for the two-day event himself, the lineup also includes Hudson Mohawke, Daedelus, Kingdom, Reggie Watts, Thugf---er, Doldrums, Braille, Stretch Armstrong, Eclectic Method and many more.
To kick off this year's event, UK Funky artist L-Vis 1990 will be performing at an as-yet-unannounced location in Chinatown, which will include a ticket discount for BEMF attendees.
