Back in May, the Decemberists broke the news of Conlee's unfortunate diagnosis on their website, but assured fans that the keyboardist's cancer was caught at an early stage. "And while the prognosis is very, very good for a full recovery," Meloy wrote, "tackling the disease will mean some intensive treatment for our Jenny as well as a lot of important recovery time."
According to Spin, the 39-year-old Conlee may be back on tour as soon as November in order to play for John Wesley Harding's backing band. The Decemberists' newest LP of B-sides, 'Long Live the King,' is due out Nov. 1. Cheers to for a newly reinvigorated Jenny!
