Little Red Celebrate Australian Summer With 'February' -- Song Premiere

Little Red's 'February' is a breezy, lilting tune that evokes the sweet melancholy which comes at the end of summer. The Melbourne band tackles Beach Boys harmonies with ease and will have residents of the Northern Hemisphere scratching their heads as to why a song called 'February' is mentally transporting them back to the dog days of summer.

"I wrote 'February' around summer 2007 -- February is the last month of our summer," guitarist and vocalist Dominic Byrne tells Spinner.

"I actually wrote the last verse standing on the end of my street. We didn't record it until a couple of years later and it was only supposed to be a demo. We recorded it at our mixer's house but I'm glad it ended up on the album because it's always had a place in my heart. It's just one of those songs about time moving on and appreciating the sweetness of life."
