Now, they're back with the single 'Lies,' a track that combines chambered electronics, hollowed-out vocals and kitschy hand claps. This simplistic arrangement was the perfect canvas for peers Juveniles to remix, making soft synths squish between the lyrics while the beat rises indefinitely.
"When we recorded 'Lies' in London last year we all knew it was going to be on our debut album 'Native To.' It was a fresh song for us and we thought maybe the most 'pop' we had," singer Simon Milner tells Spinner.

"It's great to play it live because the crowds seem to get it and dance to it even though it's technically quite slow. We hooked up with Juveniles for the mix via our label Kitsuné, which will also be releasing a track of theirs soon. We love their mix; they totally got the feel for the track and what it was about. The meaning of the song is direct: People use lies to get by."
Is Tropical are currently on tour, and 'Native To' is available in record stores now.
