Anne Revisit Classic Shoegaze Sound on 'Virginal Plight' -- Video Premiere

Anne is a new quartet out of Portland, Ore., but their reverb-drenched guitars and ethereal vocals would have you believing they're from Oxford, England circa 1991. The group's upcoming 'Dream Punx' 12-inch finds them revisiting the cherished sound of the first wave of the shoegaze era. Of course we're talking about bands like Ride, Chapterhouse and My Bloody Valentine.

'Dream Punx' consists of nine tracks of material pulled from the Anne's self-released mixtapes as well as new and unreleased studio recordings. Spinner is pleased to present the exclusive premiere of 'Virginal Plight,' one of the record's stunning tracks.

A389 Records will release 'Dream Punx' on Nov. 28th and Anne will head out on a short West Coast tour next month in support of the collection. All of the live dates are listed below.
