Alkaline Trio's Matt Skiba Has Foot Crushed by a Tractor-Trailer

Skiba has kept fans and friends in the know via a series of tweets. Explaining the gnarliness of his injury he wrote, "My right foot was run over by a semi truck while stopped at a light on my motorcycle yesterday. Broke my foot and ankle badly" on Oct. 27, proving that even at 0 miles an hour, motorbikes can be very dangerous.
On Monday, Skiba tweeted, "Got a walking cast I can take on and off but I can't actually walk on/put weight on it for several weeks. Our U.K. dates will be made up ASAP." No word on when that will actually be, but considering his foot was run over by a gigantic truck, it seems things could take a while.

Ya gotta watch out for those wide stances! Hope that you get better soon my man, I ride myself, and LOVE doing it! I saw a car accident happen last night for no reason. The guy came hurtling through a his green light at about 80mph, ran up the sidewalk, and into a tree which stopprd him, and his three buddies dead. If there had been a pedestrian, or if my car had been going through a green we would both have been toast. Life is a risk, might as well die doing something that you love doing. Hope that you get back riding soon.
