Darren Aronofsky Directing Lou Reed and Metallica's 'Iced Honey' Video

Metallica and Lou Reed's painful powerhouse of disaster, 'Lulu,' has only been out for a few days and critics can't seem to get enough of slagging it into an illegitimate heap of nonsense (that is, until it goes full circle and becomes art again). And just a day after we joined the bashing with our top five WTF moments from the fiasco that is 'Lulu,' we've learned from the Associated Press (via CoS) that renowned filmmaker and 'Black Swan' mastermind Darren Aronofsky will direct the music video for one of 'Lulu's' more listenable tracks, 'Iced Honey.'

Loutallica and the director will be shooting the video in the San Francisco Bay area with the help of longtime Aronofsky cameraman Matthew Libatique. Drummer Lars Ulrich told the AP that he was currently "living the dream" by working with his idols while Reed hoped that the video would become "his Black Swan." This, unfortunately, could mean a number of things, so let's hope he means "good."

Stay tuned for the 'Iced Honey' video, because we're sure it's going to be an epic moment in rock history -- or a moment we all try and forget. Can't wait!
