Such leaks are par for the pop-music course, and responding via Twitter, a seemingly none-too-surprised Drizzy chose to look on the bright side.
"I am not sure if the album leaked," he tweeted. "But if it did thank god it doesn't happen a month early anymore."
"Listen, enjoy it, buy it if you like it...and take care until next time," he added.
If the version of 'Take Care' that hit the 'net last night is official, its tracklist differs slightly from the one that the 25-year-old rapper released last week. The pirated set switches track No. 13 and 14, 'HYFR (Hell Ya F---in' Right)' and 'Look What You've Done,' and reveals that track No. 12, 'Doing It Wrong,' is the one that features Stevie Wonder.
It doesn't appear that Wonder sings on the track, but he contributes some of his signature harmonica, dialing in some 'I Just Called to Say I Love You' flavor on the mellow synth jam.
Other guests include one-man bizarro-R&B wunderkind the Weeknd, who produced 'Crew Love'; Rick Ross, who takes the last verse on 'Lord Knows'; and alleged former flame Rihanna, who lends her vocals to the title cut.
"I know you been hurt by someone else," the Bajan superstar sings, promising to take care of Drizzy's wounded heart. He echoes that vow, creating an air of tenderness often missing in hip-hop.
"You won't ever have to worry," he sings. "You won't ever have to hide."
