In a post on her website, she gave fans an update on her recovery, writing, "Thank you for all your positive thoughts and get well wishes. I'm doing really well, on the mend, super happy, relaxed and very positive with it all. The operation was a success and I'm just chilling out now until I get the all clear from my doctors."
Adele underwent laser microsurgery to fix her continually bleeding vocal cords at Boston's Massachusetts General Hospital. Dr. Steven Zeitels, the Director of the hospital's Voice Center who has also helped Aerosmith's Steven Tyler, said that she should make a full recovery.
Proving that her sense of humor hasn't been affected by the ordeal, Adele signed off with the following: "I best get back to practicing my mime show now. Take care, miss you all."
It hasn't been all sunshine for Adele recently, however. In a recent interview with The Sun, she admitted to having some lingering feelings for the ex-boyfriend who inspired her chart-topping sophomore album '21.'
"It's bittersweet because I wouldn't give up this success for anything. But at the same time, I'd do anything to be with him. I miss him. I do," she said. "It's hard singing all these songs because it makes me remember how brilliant we were when we were good ... and how tragic it was when we were bad."
And while fans won't be able to see Adele in concert any time soon, there is one bit of good news: Her performance at London's Royal Albert Hall will be released as a CD/DVD combo on Nov. 29.

Why not in England with the National Health? Isn't socialized medicine better?? Perhaps the operation probably wasn't approved by the NICE (National Institute for Clinical Effectiveness --- a.k.a. the medical rationing board). Great to have a place like Mass General where you can get fixed. Good luck on your recovery.
