Come set sail with a boat-load of bikini- and banana hammock-clad music fans, all partying to the sounds of F---ed Up (frontman Damian Abraham also happens to be the official "Cruise Director"), the Soft Pack, the Togas (a new project from Ty Segall and the Strange Boys' Philip Sambol), King Khan and more. And if this doesn't sound like the perfect vacation, perhaps watching F---ed Up's hilarious Bruise Cruise Fest video might convince you to sail into the sunset come February.
Spinner also checked in with some of the BC musicians to give you the exclusive lowdown on what you need to know to get your cruise on. While you get the inside scoop, listen to F---ed Up's brand new track, 'I Hate Summer,' which will appear on a split 7-inch with the Dirtbombs in 2012 courtesy of Bruise Cruise Records.
Fucked Up "I Hate Summer" by Bruise Cruise
F---ed Up: "Bring Earplugs!"
The Dirtbombs: "The eternal appeal of rock 'n' roll and tropical climates -- it's a crystal clear recipe for success."
The Soft Pack: "Personally, I'm just trying not to get lost or left behind and then gonna wing it from there ... and get a sun tan."
Quintron and Miss Pussycat: "Dude, I built an entire sound system called the "Swamp Stack" for this trip; all the speakers are covered in palm fronds and the subwoofer is built into a giant shrimp cooler."
The Togas: "We're expecting Larry Flynt-escapades. [Remember to] pack toothbrush, bananas, banana hammocks..."
