Liam Gallagher Calls Noel a 'Parasite' for Playing So Many Oasis Songs In Concert

Speaking with LA Weekly, the Beady Eyes frontman offered a succinct, well-reasoned, completely unbiased criticism of Noel's recent shows, raising thought-provoking questions about the nature of nostalgia.
"I'll tell you what: he's playing 50 per cent Oasis material, which says to me that he's a complete f---ing parasite," Liam said. "He's a complete f---ing s---bag."
OK, so maybe he's a little biased. The Gallaghers have been at war for as long as anyone can remember, and last month, Noel filed court papers accusing his brother of harassing his wife on the phone and attacking him with a guitar. The filing came several months after Liam initiated a libel lawsuit in connection with comments made by Noel regarding Oasis' cancelled performance at 2009's V Festival.
While Liam says he and Beady Eye will play a handful of Oasis tunes on their next tour, they're planning to "keep their eyes on the future" and limit the number to two or three.
As for the possibility of an Oasis reunion, Liam told the paper he'd do it for the fans, not the money, although he's in no rush to make it happen.
"That's not me saying I'd want to get back in a band with Noel -- I'd rather eat my own s--- than be in a band with him again. He's a miserable little f---, if you know what I mean. But if the fans want it, though, I'd do it."

Noel was always the more talented and classier brother. The High Flying Birds album was much better than Beady Eye's too, at least in my opinion of course.
