Amy Winehouse Performs 'Tears Dry on Their Own' in Ireland -- New Video

Now a second clip has surfaced, and like the previous, 'Tears Dry on Their Own' finds Winehouse in peak form. In subsequent years, she would succumb to addictions and become a tabloid fixture, but here, she's an uncommonly soulful singer with the world seemingly at her fingertips.
Both performances come from the forthcoming film 'When Amy Came to Dingle,' which is slated to include additional songs and an interview. Check back for more videos as they become available.

She was truly in the spirit of Dinah Washington, Billie Holiday and some of the other great blues singers that ever lived. She revived a whole style of music for a new generation to embrace and enjoy through other artists she influenced. She was a gifted musician-singer-songwriter and a tortured artist whose music will surely outlive most of the unimaginitive crap being released today.

She was a young girl, she had a great voice, an original sense of style--not just another cookie-cutter public figure. I tip my hat to the square pegs that keep society from being a bland grid of sameness.
Wow. Take away her big boobs, tattoos and her party girl image...... if this is really suppose to be an example of her talents..... she had none.
Sorry that she's dead but let's be honest..... that was terrible.
