Look Mexico Battle Over Board Games for 'Arrest? I Don't Feel Like I'm Under Arrest' -- Video Premiere

Austin-based rockers Look Mexico have been blazing the tour trails of North America ever since the band's inception years ago in Tallahassee, Fla. Recently returning to the studio as a newly minted four-piece, Look Mexico recently recorded 'Real Americans Spear It,' an EP that couples alt-country brawn with indie-rock sincerity.

The record's comically-titled single 'Arrest? I Don't Feel Like I'm Under Arrest' is a great representation of the band as a whole: Dynamic riffage and a swirling, melodic chorus with some tasty beer foam at the top. The video for the song, directed by Robert Gentry, is a surreal trip through the seedy world of high-stakes board games.

Several hooded figures are driven by limousine to an undisclosed location where they meet the money boss of everything from Twister to Jenga. A battle of wits ensues and a twist-ending will have you wondering what happens next.

"In many cases, risk outweighs reward. The song is of desperation," Look Mexico's Matt Agrella tells Spinner. "Realizing you're likely to fail, but doing it anyway. The video is a lighter take on this, though still a bit dark, I guess. The gang takes up alter-egos of wealthy businessmen of various backgrounds. They are lured, or somewhat willingly kidnapped, and taken to a desert landscape for a 'to the death' gambling match. Winner takes all. Losers, well, die."
