And so, 2011 became the year of the dog. Cats still made the occasional cameo -- don't worry, Snacks the Cat, people still follow you on Twitter even if you're no Boo the Dog -- but it was clear that canines were the music's worlds new best friend.
It's tough to tell just yet who will take 2012 (Bears? Owls? Sea Monkeys?!?) but as the year comes to a close, let's shout-out the music scene's top dogs of 2011.

I really love dog breed cavalier. I have not seen to many of them, but when I do, they always stand out! I love that they are medium sized dogs, not too big, not too small. I love their color as well.
