"The Toubin family is so grateful for the love and support of everyone at this emotional time," the I Heart JT Facebook support page recently posted. "Jonathan is still in critical condition and needs your positive thoughts and prayers for a quick recovery. Please keep your love and energy flowing." Toubin's family has now set up a P.O. box where you can send letters to the ailing DJ.
Karen O and co. will headline the event followed by TV on the Radio frontman Tunde Adebimpe's Stabbing Eastward project. Jon Spencer's Heavy Trash will also perform while Bear in Heaven and Butthole Surfers' Gibby Haynes spin records all night long.
Tickets are running between $25 and $100, and all proceeds will go directly to help Toubin pay his hospital bills. Advance tickets are currently sold out and only a small number are left for the box office, which opens with the doors tomorrow night at 10:30PM ET. Hopefully the brazen power of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs can send good vibes Jonathan's way.
